Coroner

The Snyder County coroner is responsible for investigating all deaths of a suspicious or violent nature and due to contagious disease constituting a public health hazard. The coroner is empowered to perform autopsies, subpoena witnesses, administer oaths and issue certificates of death where death occurs without medical attention or attendance.
