Snyder County Board of Elections Reminds Voters of the October 29 Deadline for Mail Ballot Applications for November 5 General Election

Snyder County, PA – The Snyder County Board of Elections is reminding registered voters in Snyder County that the deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot for the upcoming general election on November 5, 2024, is October 29, 2024.

Voters can apply for their mail-in ballots at the Snyder County Elections Office, located at 9 West Market Street in Middleburg, PA. Voters may complete their applications and submit them in person through October 29 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On the final day for applications, October 29, the office will extend its hours until 5:00 p.m.

Additional options for receiving a mail-in ballot include submitting an official application by mail, which must be received by the Elections Office by October 29, 2024, or applying online at vote.pa.gov by the same deadline.

Completed mail-in ballots must be returned to the Election Department by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 5, 2024. Voters can either mail their ballots or drop them off at the office during normal business hours. On Election Day, the office will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to collect these ballots. Voters are encouraged to use the drop-off area at the Courthouse Annex, the building closest to the traffic light, where staff will be available to accept ballots upon ringing the bell. The voter must be present at the time their ballot is submitted.
