Trees & Seedlings Sale

2026 Tree/Seedling Sale

The Snyder County Conservation District (SCCD) is holding its annual tree and seedling sale for 2026. 

Orders must be made, with payment via mail, to the SCCD by Monday, March 30. 

Please note that quantities are limited, all sales are on a first come first serve basis.

You can pick up your orders on Wednesday, April 15 (7 am – 7 pm) or Thursday, April 16 (7 am – 4 pm).

Note that plants not picked up are NOT the responsibility of the SCCD.

Testing Kits

The Snyder County Conservation District has several types of test kits for the general public. They include:

Soil Test Kits: (Crop Fields, Pastures, Orchards, Gardens, Lawns) – $10

Soil test kits are payable to the SCCD (Snyder County Conservation District) when picked up at the office. This does not include postage to Penn State’s testing laboratory. Sampling, form completion and mailing directions are included with each kit.

Drinking Water Test Kits:

Made payable to the testing laboratory.

Pond & Lake Test Kits:

Made payable to the testing laboratory.

Manure Nutrient Test Kits:

Made payable to the testing laboratory.

Shirts – $10

SCCD Shirt

Sizes range from Child Small to Adult XXL. Shirts come in various colors. Check with our office on availability.

Maps

Snyder County Topographic Maps – $8

7.5 Minute “Quad” Topographic Maps – $8 – $13.50

The Conservation District has all the individual maps that make up Snyder County, as well as some others outside the County. (Scale: 1:24,000 or 1 in. = 2000 ft.)
